Andreas Papanikolaou is a member of Special Teaching Fellow. He received a Ph.D. in Literary Theory from the School of French Language and Literature (Division of Literature), Faculty of Philosophy, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, a DEA in Literary Theory from the same University and a Master’s degree in applied linguistics and Didactics of French as a foreign language at the University of Franche-Comté, Besançon, France.

Principal research interests: Literary Theory, 20th century French Contemporary Literature, Literature and Philosophy, Cultural studies, Comparative Literature and Surrealism.

He is also interested in Didactics of foreign languages, the exploitation of the ICTE in the teaching of French, in online language learning, computer-supported collaborative language learning and web
2.0 technologies. He participates in Greek Ministry of Education’s programs as State Certification System for Languages (KPG).
