Professor of Translation Studies in the School of French at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, translator, and literary critic.  Research interests: translation and communication theory and practice, Digital Humanities, language technology, global literature. Coordinator AUTh of AUF, Apollonis, Infrastructure for Digital Humanities and Arts, Language Research and Innovation, and EC's Greek Terminology Network. She has published many articles on translation, translation theory and practice, and digital literary studies, as well as many translations. Recent books: Translation and Memory. Translation as Memory and Memory in Translation (Μετάφραση και μνήμη. Η μετάφραση ως μνήμη και η μνήμη στη μετάφραση, 2021), The poet K.G. Papageorgiou (Ο ποιητής Κ.Γ. Παπαγεωργίου, 2021), Victor Serge, Midnight in the Century (Μεσάνυχτα στον αιώνα, translation, notes, postface, 2020).

 As a translator, she has collaborated with various organisations, publishers, and EU institutions. She has translated numerous libretti and books, and received the EKEMEL (European Translation Centre-Literature and Human Sciences) translation award in 2008. As a literary critic, she has been collaborating with newspapers, Sunday Kathimerini, Sunday Vima, Avgi etc., and collaborates with both print and electronic journals. She is co-director of the poetry journal Ta Poietika, and member of various scientific associations. In 2018 she was named Chevalier dans l’Ordre des Palmes Académiques by the French government.
